Ajay Kochhar, president, CEO, and co-founder of Li-Cycle, joins BNN Bloomberg and says automakers need localized supplies of both mining derived materials, and recycling materials to make electrification of vehicles happen. Glencore will supply Li-Cycle black mass – shredded batteries that can be processed to extract metals such as cobalt and nickel.
