Li-Cycle Partners with DS TECHEETAH Formula E Team to Support Sustainable Global Electrification

TORONTO, Ontario (December 3, 2021 )Li-Cycle Holdings Corp. (NYSE: LICY) (“Li-Cycle” or “the Company”), an industry leader in lithium-ion battery resource recovery and recycling in North America, has entered into a new multi-year partnership with the DS TECHEETAH Formula E team.

Since 2014, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship has raced some of the world’s most advanced electric vehicles (EVs). Powered by fully electric powertrains on city street circuits, this sport promotes the adoption of sustainable mobility in city centres in a bid to combat air pollution and lessen the effects of climate change.

This partnership will amplify Li-Cycle’s commitment to contributing to a circular economy and advancing technologies that are critical to sustainable global electrification.
