OUR FACILITY
The New York Spoke is Li-Cycle’s first U.S.-based commercial recycling facility.
In October 2020, Li-Cycle successfully commissioned its first U.S.-based commercial Spoke facility in Rochester, New York. Improvements at the facility were completed in 2022, including upgrading the main processing line.

The New York Spoke is strategically located near our Rochester Hub project and supports the growing demand for battery recycling in the Northeastern U.S.

Our innovative recycling process ensures the safe and sustainable recycling of all types of lithium-ion batteries and manufacturing scrap, preventing them from ending up in landfills and reducing overall waste.
