Li-Cycle Holdings Corp. and Shift2 have joined forces to donate 60 refurbished laptops to seniors at Edison Career and Technology High School.
Li-Cycle is a leader in lithium-ion battery resource recovery and the leading lithium-ion battery recycler in North America. The company is in the midst of building a $485 million operations hub in Eastman Business Park that will create up to 220 jobs.
The donated refurbished laptops were presented on Thursday to students who have completed a college application, a financial aid application or have actively pursued employment in the trades.
