Original interview published in Paul Barron Network
April 05, 2021
Lithium-ion batteries have traditionally been impractical to recycle, creating hazardous waste and the loss of valuable, finite materials. Solving this global end-of-life lithium-ion battery problem is going to be key when it comes to ensuring a sustainable future for electric vehicles.
Li-Cycle’s Chief Commercial Officer, Kunal Phalpher, sat down with TechPath host Paul Barron to discuss the company’s Spoke & Hub technologies, which provide a low-cost, safe, and environmentally friendly process that can recycle all types of lithium-ion batteries, with an unparalleled recovery rate of 95% of all materials.
