OUR FACILITY
The Germany Spoke is Li-Cycle’s first lithium-ion battery recycling facility in Europe.
The Germany Spoke utilizes Li-Cycle’s ‘Generation 3’ technology, ensuring a safe, more sustainable process to efficiently recycle full electric vehicle battery packs without the need for dismantling or discharging.
About the facility.
The Germany Spoke is strategically located near key battery markets to support the accelerating demand from Li-Cycle’s growing European customer base. Li-Cycle plans to add a second main processing line at the Spoke.

Our innovative recycling process ensures the safe recycling of lithium-ion batteries and manufacturing scrap, preventing them from ending up in landfills and reducing overall waste.
