Li-Cycle Partners with The Shore Foundation to Provide Communities with Enhanced Access to Technology

At Li-Cycle, we’re committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and using sustainability measures to improve the communities where we live and work.

Through collaboration and sponsorship, we’ve partnered with The Shore Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides low-income individuals and families with improved access to technology. Through the distribution of Li-Cycle’s used laptops and desktops, which have been refurbished and given new life, this partnership empowers individuals within a wide variety of communities in upstate New York.

Li-Cycle also assists The Shore Foundation with the recycling of lithium-ion batteries from laptops and desktop computers that are unable to be refurbished and redistributed. Additionally, Li-Cycle has provided a corporate sponsorship which runs from 2021 to 2024.

We’re proud to help improve lives through access to technology, while also bridging a digital divide in Rochester and surrounding area.
