OUR FACILITY
The Norway Spoke expects to utilize Li-Cycle’s ‘Generation 3’ technology to recycle full EV battery packs without discharging or disassembly.
Li-Cycle’s Spoke recycling process uses a submerged shredding method that does not require the dismantling or discharging of batteries and reduces the risk of a thermal event. The plans for the Norway Spoke have been paused and the timing is being re-evaluated as part of Li-Cycle’s go-forward strategy.
