OUR FACILITY
The Alabama Spoke can recycle full EV battery packs without discharging or dismantling.
Our Alabama Spoke is located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The facility utilizes Li-Cycle’s ‘Generation 3’ technology, ensuring a safe, more sustainable process to efficiently recycle full electric vehicle battery packs. Our process uses a submerged shredding method that does not require the dismantling or discharging of batteries.
About the facility.
The Alabama Spoke spans more than 100,000 square feet, with 120,000 square feet for warehousing. The Alabama Spoke is strategically located to support the recycling needs of Li-Cycle’s growing customer base in the Southeastern U.S.
